E-VOKZAL is a Ukrainian online bus station. Here you can buy bus tickets across Ukraine and to 26 European countries, check the timetable of any bus station and get help from a real person on WhatsApp. Behind the service is a team that knows bus transport from the inside and kept working through the hardest times for the country.
How it all started
E-VOKZAL was founded by Vasyl. Before that, he spent many years as a manager and general director of transport companies. He saw how much of bus travel depended on ticket desks, queues and phone calls, and how inconvenient that was for passengers and carriers alike.
In 2015, Vasyl started building his own ticket booking system. It had no name yet, only an idea: buying a bus ticket should be as easy as buying anything else online. Development took four years. In 2019 the system was completed and the company LLC “AVTOVOKZALY.UA” (ТОВ «АВТОВОКЗАЛИ.ЮА») was registered, with its legal address in Kharkiv.
Evacuation in 2022
When the full-scale invasion began, we switched from selling tickets to saving people. From 11 March to the end of August 2022, together with partner carriers, we evacuated people from dangerous areas. Several countries helped us with fuel, and we sent buses wherever they were needed most.
Our buses went to the hottest spots: Balakliia, Mykolaiv, towards Kherson, when other carriers refused to go there. We took children out of these areas and delivered them safely abroad.
At that time Zaporizhzhia became a transit point for people from Mariupol and other front-line areas. They were brought to the city and then left without any support. We drove into Zaporizhzhia and picked them up from there. We also evacuated people from Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Lozova.
None of this would have been possible without the bus stations. Anton, head of the DOPAS group of companies, allowed our buses to enter any DOPAS bus station free of charge, from Dnipro to Kryvyi Rih, and pick up people for evacuation. Mr Ivanov, founder of Zaporizhavtotrans, which owned the bus station and terminals of Zaporizhzhia, did the same and opened them to our buses free of charge. Mr Ivanov is no longer with us, and we remember his contribution with gratitude. We took everyone who wanted to leave.
So that people could leave even without money, we put tickets for 1 hryvnia on various platforms: any trip to Lviv cost one hryvnia.
In six months we evacuated about 45,000 people. Among them were children from residential care homes for children with disabilities. They travelled in buses where the seats were turned into beds with pillows and blankets.
During the evacuation the company quietly moved to Lviv. Our office and support team have been working here ever since.
Helping children
Since 2020 we have been helping children’s homes on a regular basis. The most recent example is a children’s residential care home in Drohobych.

Today Vasyl serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and carries out combat missions to destroy the enemy. Meanwhile the company works every day as before: tickets are sold, trips are updated, support is online. We keep developing the service, because people must travel and the country must live.
What you will find on the site
- Bus tickets across Ukraine and to 26 European countries: Poland, Czechia, Germany, Italy, Spain, France and others. Trips by Ukrainian and European carriers, from large international companies to regional and suburban ones.
- Bus station timetables. For every station you can see all trips, operating days, departure and arrival times and prices. You can plan a trip in advance, even if the date is not yet fixed.
- Bus station information: addresses, phone numbers, opening hours and where to take shelter during an air raid alert.
- Support on WhatsApp. If you cannot buy a ticket on the site, you can book it via WhatsApp messages.
How to buy a ticket
- Enter where you are travelling from and to, and the date.
- Compare trips by time, duration and price. Some carriers let you choose your seat.
- Enter the passenger details and pay by card.
- The ticket arrives in your email right after payment.
No registration is needed. The service works online, and you can buy a ticket at any time of day or night.
Honest price
The price on the site is final. We do not add mark-ups, service fees or hidden charges, so you pay the same as at the carrier’s ticket desk. We have kept to this principle since day one.
Ticket refunds
To return a ticket, write to booking@e-vokzal.com or on WhatsApp. The refund amount depends on the carrier’s rules and on how much time is left before departure. We will tell you the exact amount and help with the whole process.
Support
Our support team works on WhatsApp every day from 8:00 to 21:00 (Kyiv time), messages only. We will help you find a trip, book a ticket or resolve an issue with the carrier. A real person answers, not a bot.
